Worcestershire photography tuition

Worcestershire photography tuition by Bravo Photography.

Just got a new DSLR, need some Worcestershire photography tuition? Well you might have a new camera but I bet in  a few days (yes, I am writing this just before Christmas), there are going to be an awful lot of people wanting Worcestershire photography tuition.

Just picture the scene – piles of wrapping paper, excited children, and a brand new camera, much more sophisticated than any you have had before. A very common scenario I am sure with the price of Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras – OK, DSLRs getting cheaper and cheaper there are going to be an awful lot of new Worcestershire photography experts about soon.  But hold on a moment, maybe they are not quite as simple as they make out, what are all these buttons? What do all the letters on this dial mean? How do I put the battery in? Actually I have not made the last one up and is, in fact personal experience! When I got my first DSLR I actually spent ages trying to get the battery into the camera with the battery cover still attached! Hmmm… and her I am offering Worcestershire photography tuition.

Well that is exactly why I am offering Worcestershire photography tuition as I know all too well the potential pitfalls and problems that await the newly armed digital photographer. The important thing though, is that I have over come these problems to become a successful, professional Worcestershire photography expert. Not only that but being a qualified trainer with many years in a previous life designing and delivering training courses I am well placed to pass on this knowledge to up and coming Worcestershire photography experts.

So once you have puzzled over your new camera for long enough, give me a call to arrange a bit of one to one, or if you have a friend in similar trouble then one to two or more!), tuition. I always believe in giving the very best value for money so prices really are scary!

Kidderminster Photographer studio portriats after Christmas

Kidderminster Photographer suggests after Christmas portrait session to fill that  time before New Year.

Kidderminster Photographer, Bravo Photography of Worcestershire has a bright idea to fill that gap between Christmas and New Year – a family portrait session. I actually rather like that bit of down time at the very end of December but early January sales excepted it can be rather hard to find some thing to do. A brisk walk of course always fits the bill but with the weather forecast as it is at the moment I fear that might not be such a good idea this year. So why not book a session with Kidderminster Photographer, Bravo Photography near Worcester.

Kidderminster Photographer, Bravo Photography has a lovely little studio in a out building behind my house right by Kidderminster railway station there is also has plenty of parking space available if you are not coming by train.  There are lots of advantages of booking a session with a Kidderminster Photographer at this time of year. If you have  children who are  at   university or college, they might be all at home – when was the  last time you had a good picture of all of you together. There might even be other family staying with you – what a great opportunity.

A big plus of getting a portrait  done at this time of year with Kidderminster Photographer, Bravo Photography is that it could be a the basis for a ready made Christmas card for next year or a Thank You card for this year. I can  supply images on disc (unlike a lot of Worcestershire Photographer s ), for you to make your own or if you are not that creative then I can always design a card for you.

Don’t delay – give Kidderminster Photographer, Bravo Photography a ring to see what availability is left.

Worcestershire Portrait Photographer has Studio for Hire

Worcestershire Portrait Photographer has Studio available for Hire.

Always one for making the most of assets, this Worcestershire Portrait Photographer has realised that he is sitting on one very useful one that could also be very useful to up and coming Worcestershire Portrait Photographer s. While my studio in Kidderminster is quite busy there are always times (thankfully!), when it is not in use. Well, I do need some time to process all the lovely photographs I take. So, when I am not using it, someone else could be.

Conveniently situated in an out building behind my house, Worcestershire Portrait Photographer studio is small but well equipped being ideal for individual portraits, family groups or small to medium product photography. Now to get a little bit technical. There is a good range of Elinchrom lighting ranging from BX 100 to BX and FX 400’s mounted on sliding ceiling rails making them super easy to reposition for maximum creativity and productivity. There is also some constant lighting which is ideal for low aperture portraits or product work.

The lighting is supported by a good range of light modifiers for the Worcestershire Portrait Photographer to get really creative. I have got different sized soft boxes, umbrellas, both shoot through and reflective, snoot, barn doors with filters and probably a bit more I can’t remember at the moment.

The back grounds will be of particular interest to the Worcestershire Portrait Photographer and consists of a very large Lastolite Hi Lite for easy and effective Hi Key photography. There is also additional lighting for the floor for perfect portrait photography. The Worcestershire Portrait Photographer will also appreciate the roller back ground system with three separate clothe back drops which can be raised or lowered with ease. I have black for brilliant, moody low key work, grey, which can be used as is or lit to any colour with filters and green to let your imagination run wild with green screen.

So if you are a budding Worcestershire Portrait Photographer get in touch and lets talk about you hiring some time in my portrait studio.

Kidderminster Photographer has DVD available now.

Kidderminster Photographer has school play DVD available now.

Kidderminster Photographer, Bravo Photography has just made available video DVD of Sytchampton First School, Worcestershire Christmas play, A Wriggly Nativity. It is available from the main web site for just £6 which includes postage direct to any address (in the UK!), that you specify. Of course I can post to anywhere but postage will be charged at cost so please let me know before ordering. Being a Christmas play it was staged just before Christmas so this does make things a little bit difficult for a Kidderminster Photographer to guarantee that discs will arrive before Christmas but I will do my best – you need to get your skates on though! I have to admit that it is now too late to get any disc to America or even anywhere as far flung as France or Spain now without resorting to a special courier which I guess is just not really even worth considering.

What a lovely present this would make for one of the children’s Grand Parents and if they are lucky children they might have lots of Grand parents so even more scope for ordering discs. It must be pointed out that this shameless pushing (worth of  a double glazing salesman), is all in a good cause. All monies (minus the rather miniscule cost of the discs and of course any postage), is going direct to the Sytchampton Endowed First School, Worcestershire, Parent Teacher Association funds. This Association really does do a terrific job in providing some very worth while extra amenities and services for this lovely little school just on the A449 between Worcester and Kidderminster where I have to admit, this Kidderminster Photographer takes his daughter every day.

So, to buy a copy just click on ‘view and buy’ on the main site and away you go.

Worcestershire Photographer does something a bit different

Worcestershire Photographer does something a bit different – video for a change!

Yes, today this Worcestershire Photographer did something a little bit different and quite enjoyed it.

It is that time of year again that every parent really looks forward to (it is up to you to decide if I am being sarcastic or not!), Christmas and that means the school Christmas play. In all fairness, I don’t dread them as much as I used to as from all the schools that I have been involved with over the years my daughters current one puts on by far the best and most inventive shows. Well, last week the call went out for someone with a video camera to record this years performance. ‘I am a Worcestershire Photographer’ I thought, but I don’t have a video camera. Hang on a sec, yes I do.

Since upgrading to my current main camera, the Canon 5d Mk 3, I am still getting used to the massive range of functions it has to offer the Worcestershire Photographer. One of these functions is, of course, full HD video recording. I must admit that I had never considered this function to be of much use but I may be just a little bit wrong about this – even a Worcestershire Photographer can’t be right all the time! One fact that did really sway me in my opinion is that I found out that a lot of movies, even some big budget one such as Black Swan are now being shot with them.

The big advantage for the Worcestershire Photographer that this system has over a standard video camera is the ability to use a wide variety of top quality lenses with them and to use such features as variable aperture with ease for great cinematic effects.

Not that this Worcestershire Photographer was doing anything like that today – just getting the kids singing beautifully was enough.
