Worcestershire wedding photographer at Curradine Barns

Worcestershire wedding photographer at Curradine Barns.

Worcestershire wedding photographer, Bravo Photography of Kidderminster near Worcester just loves the Autumn for great wedding photography. Well when you can get results like this who wouldn’t? This picture was taken near Curradine Barns, Shrawley near Worcester, a venue I really like for creative Worcestershire wedding photographer. I say near because this location was not actually at the barns. One of the good things about this venue is that there is a lovely little circular walk you can do in just fifteen or twenty minutes that takes in a really well varied selections of backgrounds.

This is just the sort of thing that a good Worcestershire wedding photographer will know about for a wedding venue, and if they don’t, they should find out! This nice little tour can start out with some very rural pictures against a five bar gate – a surprisingly adaptable photography prop. It is even better when it will open easily as I have usually found brides to be a bit reluctant to clamber over one in their dress – there some notable exceptions though! We even had so sheep in the back ground on this day just to add a bit more county flavour. I have just thought of another brilliant idea for a picture on a five bar gate – bride and groom leaning on it and sucking a blade of grass in true yokel style. They could even be sucking the same piece of grass in a bit of a Lady and the Tramp moment. Now this Worcestershire wedding photographer only has to find a couple willing to do it!

Sorry I was meant to be talking about how I like taking wedding pictures in the Autumn. Apart from the brilliant colours , the mild weather and bonfire night just around the corner – I do love fire works!

Worcester Photographer at wedding near Stourport

Worcester photographer at favorite venue.

Worcester photographer, Bravo Photography of Kidderminster near Worcester just seems to like writing about pictures so much that I seem to be running out of space on each blog entry! Going back to why I said near i the last description I badly ran over the word count on. That picture taken by Worcester photographer, Bravo Photography was taken at the little church just a short stroll down the road from the Curradine Barns. A short stroll easily accomplished in high heals and a big white dress – something really rather important to most brides but strangely not by all Worcester photographer s  from some of the horror stories I hear from time to time. Any way, this was just in the church yard beneath a rather lovely tree skillfully planted about a hundred years ago to just catch the late after noon light on a lovely Autumn day. How very thoughtful that was of someone. Well, accidental I am sure but just he sort of thing that a good Worcester photographer will pick up on and use to the full!

Sorry I was meant to be talking about how I like to do wedding pictures in the Autumn. Apart from the brilliant colours , the mild weather and bonfire night just around the corner – I do love fire works!

Wedding photography Rowton Castle, Shropshire

Wedding Photography, Rowton Castle, Shropshire

Wedding Photography from  Rowton Castle, Shropshire. Faye and Andy live in Bewdley, near Kidderminster, Worcestershire but thought it worthwhile to travel over to Shropshire for their wedding – I have to agree with their decision! Rowton Castle, Shropshire is a wedding photographers dream – lots of great backgrounds, all easily reached and the staff are wonderfully organised and efficient.

There are quite a few ancient looking houses around that are ideal for Wedding Photography but many of them are not quite as old as they seem. For all it’s grandeur some where like Eastnor Castle, Worcestershire is just a Victorian invention. Rowton Castle, Shropshire is the six hundred year old real thing!

You can, of course get married in a church and then hold your wedding reception and have your Wedding Photography at Rowton Castle, Shropshire but it is ideal if every thing is happening there. I can get great Wedding Photography of the bridal party up in their rooms then nip, along the corridor, down the stairs, along another corridor, up some stairs and along another corridor and I can get some Wedding Photography shots of the men getting ready. It is not actually that far but I have to angle for sympathy where I can. In fact you don’t really want the two wedding parties being too close together just in case the bride and groom should bump into each other and you know how bad that is!

Any way the long and the short of it is that Rowton Castle in Shropshire is a really great place for Wedding Photography. If you want to see the proof then I have a brilliant album from this wedding. Just give me a ring and I can arrange to bring it and lots of others over for you to see.

Wedding photography Worcestershire

Wedding photography Worcestershire in Pershore and The Pear Tree, Worcester.

A day of mixed weather for Wedding photography Worcestershire but it did mean that when it wasn’t raining the light was great for wedding photography. I had spotted this patch of bluebells on my way from Kidderminster, Worcestershire on my way to do the photography – you have to have sharp eyes to be a wedding photographer.

After checking that the driver was OK to stop on the way to the Pear Tree in Smite, near Worcester, Worcestershire, I joined the happy couple for a short stop and some great photographs. Sometimes you do have to ‘think out side the box’ a bit to get great Wedding photography Worcestershire, and this is just one example. I have used all sorts of unusual locations over the years such as canal boats, barn doors, porches of houses and even churches. What is unusual about that you may ask – well the couple didn’t just get married there!

For my Wedding photography Worcestershire, I really do try to capture the atmosphere of the time of year that your wedding takes place. I am assuming that as you have chosen the date it must have some significance. The Blue bells for this Spring wedding are a case in point. If it had been a little earlier I would have made sure I captured Spring blossom. A bit latter in the year we have poppies to fix the season in the Wedding photography Worcestershire. For Summer we have grey skies and rain – well this year we did but what a glorious Autumn with lovely leaves a plenty. Of course if it is a Christmas wedding that you have chosen then we still have trees to play with.  The trees this time have tinsel and Christmas decorations to set off your Wedding photography Worcestershire.

Worcestershire wedding photography from Bravo Photography, Kidderminster

Worcestershire Wedding Photography

Worcestershire Wedding Photography by Bravo Photography of Kidderminster.

Bravo Photography of Kidderminster consistently provide some of the best Worcestershire Wedding Photography and at very reasonable prices. My wife would just love me to charge the prices that we often see other Worcestershire Wedding Photography providers charging but my philosophy is that I like to keep things reasonable. Consequently, I do keep pretty busy, but that is how I like it!

People often ask how far in advance you need to book to get Bravo Photography of Kidderminster to do Worcestershire Wedding Photography for them but I am afraid there is no straight answer to this question. Unfortunately I can only do one wedding a day (I have done two before and it was not good for my blood pressure at all!). This means that bookings have to be taken on a first come, first served basis. Most people plan their weddings twelve or eighteen months ahead though as a guide. Having said that though this Worcestershire Wedding Photography has booked weddings as much as three years in advance and as little a one day.

At the current round of wedding fairs that I am attending at the moment, with the next at Worcester Rugby Club tomorrow most people are looking at next year. Having said that though, I have noticed that the demand for Worcestershire Wedding Photography has shortened on time scale a lot. More and more people are approaching me requests for Worcestershire Wedding Photography for their weddings later this year and even this Spring.

There is nothing that says that all weddings have to planed years ahead of course I we are proof of that in that although we were thinking about it for a couple of years it only took us two months to actually organise in the end including our Worcestershire Wedding Photography

Wedding photographer Worcester at Shropshire Castle

Wedding photographer Worcester at Rowton Castle Shropshire for Lyndsay and Tonys wedding photography.

Wedding photographer Worcester, Bravo Photography was at Rowton Castle in Shropshire again for the fantastic wedding of Lyndsay and Tony. As always with this superb venue the hotel staff were superbly organised and efficient and every thing ran like clock work. Like clock work except for the weather that is which, although rather inconvenient for a Wedding photographer Worcester did provide some great skies and even a rain bow later on.

This was actually a good test of this Wedding photographer Worcester, Bravo Photography’s forward planning and ability to react to any situation. I had already spotted that the weather was not looking too good in the morning. Pretty easy really and no weather forecast needed – if your head is getting wet then it is raining! Because of this I set up my studio lights during the morning while everyone was getting ready. This meant that they were all ready to go if the weather should not oblige and I had to do the family group shots in doors.

As it turned out for Wedding photographer Worcester, Bravo Photography, the weather was just about OK directly after the ceremony so every one was able to rush out side for a big group shot which we managed just before the heavens opened again. Well at least that was the big one sorted out. I was then able to do the smaller family groups in the very grand room in side over looking the gardens. Because I had tested the set up earlier I was able to get straight into it with perfectly balanced shots. This is where having the studio lights and knowledge of how to use them properly really came into play and a brilliant set of pictures was the result.

Wedding photographer Worcestershire, Bravo Photography was in Shropshire again at the splendid  Rowton Castle for the fantastic wedding of Lyndsay and Tony. True to form the castle provided brilliant opportunities for creative wedding photography. This picture of the bride seeing some of her guests arrive is a great example. Just look at the expression, the lovely old window and the reflection, just perfect.

The poor weather on this day was actually a good test of this Wedding photographer Worcestershire, Bravo Photography’s forward planning and ability to react to any situation. Kidderminster photographer goes to Birmingham for wedding

Kidderminster photographer goes to Birmingham for wedding on lovely cold day.

Kidderminster photographer, Bravo Photography had a great but rather cold time at Rebbecca & Andrews wedding.A freezing cold February day but a bit of forward planning and a visit to the location (something I always do if I am unfamiliar with the location), meant that we were able to get a nice selection of stunning photographs very quickly.

Forward planning actually goes an awful lot deeper than just working out locations for photography. Your Kidderminster photographer, Bravo Photography considers such things as parking and where exactly is the best place to position the car for a quick get away after a wedding. Not that I mean running off of course, but to get to the reception in plenty of time to photograph the couple arriving.

On this particular day though Kidderminster photographer, Bravo Photography was more thinking of nice safe places the car could be left for long enough but was conveniently located in case I needed any extra equipment and preferably as cheap as possible!

In the case of a church you need to think about how you can be first away and definitely not get blocked in. If everything is happening at one hotel though much of this can be ignored.

Being very much a Winter wedding Kidderminster photographer, Bravo Photography, was looking for some colour to add some life and vibrancy to the pictures. I found plenty of this in the canal boats as you can see in the picture. A little bit of Photo Shop magic has been used to further high light the colours by some subtle use of the posterize filter which I think adds that important little bit extra to the shot.

It was nice to get away from Kidderminster and Worcester as was the proper wedding breakfast – Full English – thank you!
